Don't Believe Them

"There aren't enough 'Good Jobs' to go around," they say. Be warned, they are misleading you...

Because right now, there are 700,000 open tech jobs in the US.

But the jobs that require no skills, no training - those jobs are being underpaid.

And they're going away.

So, McDonald's stopped fighting wage increases,

Right about the same time they announced a major acquisition in machine learning technology.

Because the technology gets more done in less time.

And helps them sell more than a human cashier.

Now less workers need to work the register.

But more workers need to work the technology.

In 2020, you'll see more tech education options available for tech training everywhere and available to everyone.

Our task moving forward will be changing our cultural conversation to one of opportunity and technology education.

Because we're going to have to raise our hands, ask questions, and learn something new in order to capture the kind of work that pays a wage we deserve.

And for a better life for our children, it's time to redefine 'the American Job.'
